The third Bulgarian helmet the Model 36C
 
 I followed up on the advice of Thierry, I cleaned the helmet and I removed the rust on my
Bulgarian Model 36C helmet.
Again I used  HG Roestoplosser, contains :
orthophosphoric acid and propaan-2-ol and Isotridecanol, ethoxylated
I applied the rust remover directly on to the rust spots then I waited 30 minutes before washing it of with water.
At some spots I had to repeat this a couple of times.
