The Franco-German Brigade (French: Brigade Franco-Allemande; German: Deutsch-Französische Brigade) is a special military brigade of the Eurocorps, founded in 1989, jointly consisting of units from both the French Army and the German Army.
The Franco-German Brigade is a 6,000-strong bi-national infantry brigade made up of French and German troops with its headquarters in the German Müllheim.
All troops were stationed in Germany until 2009; since 2010 the soldiers of the French 3rd Hussar Regiment and the German Fighter Battalion 291 have had their military home in the north-east of France; just like that, after the dissolution of the 110th régiment d'infanterie, based in Donaueschingen, on June 24, 2014, the newly placed 1er régiment d'infanterie.
The brigade is involved in the command structures of the Eurocorps.
The German troops are subordinate to the 10th Panzer Division. The French units are subordinate to the French 1re division blindée.
