Poland army helmet model Wz50. This one is made in the year 1961 by the company HUTA SILESIA, - a former zinc smelter located in Świętochłowice in the Lipiny district. Following text was translated from https://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huta_Silesia It was established in 1847 as Huta Konstancja. In 1852, Huta Gabor was built next to it. Both foundries in 1857 became the property of the Śląski Spółka Akcyjna for Mining and Zinc Cement Industry in Wrocław. In the sixties of the nineteenth century there was further expansion of the steelworks and then they received the name Zinc Works "Silesia". In 1859, a zinc rolling mill was started. In the years 1885-1895, a zinc sheet rolling mill was built, which before the First World War was the largest plant of this type on the European continent [1]. In 1961, the "Silesia" Zinc Works in Lipiny and Zakłady Cynkowy "Wełnowiec" in Katowice, the former "Hohenlohe" Steel Mill, the Zinc Plant "Silesia" in Katowice, and the "Silesia" Metallurgical Plant in 1984 were merged. In the years 1998-2000, the Lipiny plant ceased to run a business, and the production of the main product - foundry alloys was transferred to the wełnowiec mill [1]. In 2001, the closed facility was bought by MetalCo, where it conducts processing of purchased zinc waste [2]. To this day, only the western part of the complex has survived, that is, the complex of rolling mill buildings with equipment.

These are pictures of my Polish Wz67 helmet. The Wz67 helmet shape differs with the shape of the Wz50. Also the liner is different, the liner in the Wz67 is connected to the shell at only one point in the top of the shell. see: Comparison of Polish Helmets
These are pictures of my Polish Wz75 helmet. The helmet shape is equal to the helmet shape of the Wz67 but it received a new liner design. The new liner design is supposed to be better adjustable and more comfortable to wear for the soldiers. The Polish eagle is shown at the front. See Polish helmets compare v v v
Portugal Model 964 helmet. Model 964 = 1964, the year this model was first used. The Portuguese denomination is Capacete M964 NATO. This helmet is in a very good condition. This helmet looks a lot like the French model TTA51. The M964 is actually based on this French helmet. It has a steel shell and a liner like the USA M1 and the French TTA51. See Model 964 helmet liner This picture shows a nice stamp inside the helmet shell of the lot code. LOTE = lot code FMP 1-11. FMP = Fabrica Militar de Portugal. I haven't found anything about Fabrica Militar de Portugal but at this site https://www.cascoscoleccion.com/portugal/porotan.html I found information telling FMP is Fábrica de Braço de Prata. see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%A1brica_de_Bra%C3%A7o_de_Prata
