This helmet shell could be an actual USA M1 or clone like the M53 made in The Netherlands.
In the rim we can see the inscription RUCO EP. In The Netherlands there is still is a company called Ruco Metaal. Site: www.ruco-metaal.nl But they were not the makers of these helmets.
I received information that RUCO was not a production company but rather a trading organisation. They gathered and refurbished helmets for export. A new stainless steel rim would be installed with inscription RUCO or RUCO EP. In most cases used USA liners would be installed into the shells. I found information on the internet the letters EP are telling us this helmet was made for Peru, and if only RUCO the helmet might have gon to Indonesia. These helmets are from the sixties and seventies. If someone knows more about RUCO please let me known.
The Korps Communicatie & Engagement Prinses Ariane (Corps of Communication & Engagement Princess Ariane) of the Royal Netherlands Army is a corps within the Arm of the Information Manoeuver, which was established as of 20 November 2020. It is named after Princess Ariane of the Netherlands.[1] Organization The unit specializes in civil-military interaction and communication in the broadest sense of the word. The deployment can be in mission areas but also in the Netherlands. The corps has a wide pool of military personnel, professionals and reservists, with various (civilian) specialisms. In addition, the force also has specialists in the field of psychological operations (PSYOP). The corps consists of personnel from the following units: Civil and Military Interaction Command (1 CMI-Co)Other army personnel working within the communication and engagement chain Motto(s) Nostrum Animus Nostrum Telum ("Our mind is our weapon") from: https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korps_Communicatie_%26_Engagement_%27Prinses_Ariane%27
The Corps of Communication and Engagement carries 'the chess piece horse' in the emblem as the main item, with the papyrus scroll and the sword crossed in front of it. The horse chess piece is internationally, in the military metier, a symbol for psyops: psychological operations. The papyrus scroll in front represents knowledge and the sword represents effect and purpose, but is symbolically pointed downwards to represent the non-kinetic mode of action. The Corps C&E has orange as the background color. This stands for ambition and is symbolic of strength and endurance. It also refers to the color of national solidarity and the link with the royal family. The orange is combined with the light gray weapon color of the Information Maneuver.

The Netherlands beret Regiment Huzaren "Prinses Catharina-Amalia"
The Regiment Huzaren Prinses Catharina-Amalia is a cavalry regiment of the Royal Netherlands Army. The regiment was formed in late 2020 through the amalgamation of three other Dutch cavalry regiments that, at the time, existed in suspension - the Regiment Huzaren Prins Alexander, Regiment Huzaren Van Sytzama and Regiment Huzaren Prins van Oranje. The new regiment took over the operation of the army's remaining main battle tanks, as well as two of the army's ceremonial units, the Cavalry Escort (Cavalerie Ere Escorte) and the Mounted Units Regimental Band (Regimentsfanfare Bereden Wapens).[1]

These pictures show my latest Canadian made Helmet. It's the same as the British MK II. I know this helmet is made in Canada in 1941 by the letters stamped into the metal. GSW = General Steel Wares, the manufacturer from Toronto Ontario in Canada. You can see the GSW stamped. The letter I is the lot code. The liner in this helmet is not original, it is a post-war dutch liner. After the war this helmet is re-furbished and re-painted for use by the Dutch Bescherming Bevolking. (Civil Defense) Hopefully, I can obtain an original Canadian-made liner in the future.
GSW = General Steel Ware I = lot code 1941 = year of production MK I = difficult to see
This helmet has been re-painted several times. Original Canadian green next BB grey and then Blok Hoofd white.

The stamp in the liner shows M.v.O = Ministerie van Oorlog = Ministry of War. 194? this liner is Dutch but made before the 1952 the founding year of the BB. This is my first liner with the M.v.O stamp, These liners were made for the Netherlands army and re-used by the BB. Ofcourse we do not know if this helmet and liner were ever used by the Dutch army.
People who had a somewhat managerial role at the BB could be found through the Enamel signs. These original signs were attached to the front door or door frame in the 1950s/60s/70s.
